So here it is. The mid-section. The one part of my body I absolutely obsess about. For a number of reasons; one being that abdominal fat is linked to a number of diseases and I don’t have time for that. I’m also very fond of how racerback tanks and mid-drift tops look on me and I want that back. So part vanity, part health. Either way i’m gettin’ it done!
I’m a LOOOONG way from the 6-pack I used to have, but you clearly see I’m toting a 2-pack. FOR YA MAMA BISH!!!!!! There are few lingering stretch marks, but thats okay, i pushed a baby out of my va-jay-jay!! (Was that too much?) I’m certainly not posting this photo for likes…most people don’t read this blog. I am posting however as a reminder of where I’ve come from, where I am going AND I’m hoping to inspire someone else. You can do this friend! Don’t give up! For all of my mama friends, my non-mama friends with a lil’ extra and anyone who cares, we’re in this together. Go team!
P.S. Oh yeah, I >squeeeeeezed< into a size 6 dress. I couldn’t breathe, but I got in it. A Calvin Klein dress. And if you know like I know, the size a little small. *Cue happy dance* My size 10 pants are starting get loose. I can finally see a little definition in my hamstrings and quadriceps. And i’m pretty much the shit!
